The daughter of Michoac\u00e1n natives, Yadira serves as the Digital Director for the Pennsylvania Office of Administration.<\/p>\n<p>Lake Cam\u00e9cuaro, in Michoac\u00e1n, Mexico, is known for its crystal-clear waters and ancient trees, but it also holds a tale of love and sorrow. According to Pur\u00e9pecha legend, Princess Huanita was kidnapped by a jealous priest and hidden away. Her tears flowed endlessly, forming the lake. When her beloved Tang\u00e1xhuan rescued her, a spring burst from the ground where the priest fell \u2014 still feeding the lake today.<\/p>\n<p>Cam\u00e9cuaro means \u201cplace of hidden sorrow\u201d \u2014 and, under Yadira\u2019s guidance, your painting will capture this unique lake\u2019s beauty and its soul.<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On Sunday, April 6th, PGL will hold its monthly potluck meeting at the Adams County Arts Council.
