The water project in the rural Nicaraguan community of Las Marias is almost complete.\u00a0 The work supported by PGL that was the responsibility of the people in the community is done.\u00a0 A new power transformer needs to be installed to operate the water pump that will make the system fully functional.\u00a0 We hope this will happen soon.\u00a0 This picture shows the new tank and a pump station building that will protect the water pump.\u00a0 The community has also installed new PVC water pipe and taps to the homes of the families that will get water from this new system.\u00a0 In total, more than 1,200 people will now have clean and plentiful water, thanks to the efforts of PGL and the people of Gettysburg.\u00a0 The people in Las Marias send their gratitude and say again and again, thank you.<\/p>\n\n\n
