PGL in February helped support a workshop in the rural community of Los Mangles, located a two-hour drive from the city of León. Women who are participating in PGL’s food gardens project learned how to build solar dryers that can be used to preserve food and save seeds for their garden. A part of the class included ways to add dried nutrients to food and thereby eat more healthily.
