Working together with other organizations, PGL has provided three beautiful new murals at the school for children with disabilities in Sutiaba. One of these mural faces the garden and in fact depicts the life of people who work in agriculture in Nicaragua.
PGL also continues to support scholarships for low-income students to learn drawing, painting and music. None of these are subjects taught in the public schools of Nicaragua. Many of these classes take place in the city museum of León, which is the country’s finest modern and traditional art museum.
