PGL works with an organization in the small city of Nagarote in Nicaragua, roughly an hour’s drive from Leon, that offers after-school tutoring to at-risk youth, along with classes in computers, self-defense and home gardening. PGL sponsors art classes at this school and in the city of Leon itself. Recently, the arts teachers who work with PGL completed a series of murals at the school in Nagarote, with assistance from the students themselves.
