In 2021, PGL working together with Nicaraguan artists created one of the most beautiful large-scale murals in the country. This mural is located on a plaza adjacent to the Leon Cathedral, which is a UN World Heritage site. As part of its creation, children from five different after-school education projects took part in the painting. PGL hopes to do more in support of this form of art in the future and will continue to sponsor delegations and exchanges between artists in Nicaragua and the U.S. Please take the time to watch this seven-minute video about the Leon mural, and our thanks to our supporters for making this happen as well as to all the Nicaraguans who took part.
