PGL continues its gardening projects in the city and department (state) of Leon, which includes four school gardens and support of work in a rural community where more than thirty women now have established gardens to improve their family’s daily nutrition. In the city of Leon, PGL has expanded the school garden and the school for children with disabilities. The students at this school take part in maintaining the garden, harvesting food and preparing it in the school kitchen for lunches.
