Join us in downtown Gettysburg for our annual Salsa On The Square event. As in past years, Carlisle Street in front of the Majestic Theater will become a dance floor instead of a street. The event is free and there will be food trucks and children’s games to go along with the salsa band. Please come and support PGL and the entire Gettysburg community.

The Migration & Continuance Mural at The Gettysburg Library
In one of the upstairs meetings rooms at public library in Gettysburg there is now a mural whose creation represents much of how PGL has worked with rural communities in Nicaragua. The left side of the mural is a panel created in a rural community called Masiguito, the right panel was painted in a completely different community named Cuscuas, and the center panel ties this artwork together and was painted by artists whose school works with PGL to offer art classes to low-income people in the countryside and the city of León. Please go by and see this mural, and please also visit PGL’s mural at The Painted Turtle Farm on the campus of Gettysburg College.
